Recently, the President took a break from his busy schedule of apologizing for America’s (imaginary) past sins and wrecking it’s present, in order to destroy its future.  He did this by significantly defunding the space program, both manned and robotic.  To Mr. Obama, those monies are better used to fund imaginary “green” projects such as those developed by Solyndra or in (exploding) electric vehicles.

From a purely dollars and cents perspective, is America’s small investment in space-which is just about one-half of 1% of the federal budget–a worthwhile use of scarce dollars in a depressed economy? The answer is a resounding “Yes.” The Chapman Report analyzed the cost effectiveness of the space program long before spinoffs such as cell phones and GPS technology became major economic factors. It revealed that, even then,  in terms of both direct and indirect return on the dollar, spending on the space program paid for itself in federal, state and local taxes; in jobs created; and in U.S. sales and benefits. In an era when phony “stimulus” programs do little but transfer tax dollars into the pockets of the politically well-connected, spending on space represents a true boost to the economy. Turning our backs on space is the equivalent of a farmer eating his seeds for next years’ planting.

Beyond the balance sheet, there are other vital considerations. Our national defense is heavily dependent on orbiting satellites. The few bright spots in our otherwise dismal economy are the direct result of technological advances that are derived from our space program.

NASA Administrator Mike Griffen has noted:

“We see the transformative effects of the space economy all around us through numerous technologies and life-saving capabilities.  We see the space economy in the lives saved when advanced breast cancer screening catches tumors in time for treatment, or when a heart defibrillator restores…a patient’s heart…we see it when weather satellites warn us of coming hurricanes…we see it when we use an ATM…

Griffen could have mentioned medical MRIs, flat screen TVs, cordless power tools, and solar power, as well as cell phones, GPS, computer/internet technology, and much more.

The quality of our children’s lives rests heavily upon our current investment in space. Even the health of Earth’s environment will be affected on whether we access the clean and affordable energy that can be accessed in space and from the moon.

Why has the space program–an effort that pays for itself both economically and in returns in defense, health, transportation, public safety, consumer products, the environment, agriculture, and industry, treated–so disdainfully? Why have we allowed our related infrastructure (over the past several years, we have lost our ability to place astronauts in space; we have slashed our unmanned exploration program to the bone; and we underfund key civilian and military space-related budgets to dangerously low levels) to deteriorate?

Opponents of the program are mistaken both in their economic analysis, but also in their belief that even a sharply curtailed U.S. effort keeps us ahead of other nations. That assumption is manifestly incorrect. China has already put men in space, and is developing an orbital space station. It has, right now, the ability to destroy our satellites, crippling our military. Beijing is actively preparing for missions to the moon where, thanks to our withdrawal from space, it will have sole access to its vast resources. Iran has sent satellites in space in preparation of developing an ICBM capability. Russia continues on its steady course, as does Europe, India, Japan and Brazil and others.

There is no valid reason, from the financial, defense, or cultural perspective–not to pursue a vigorous and ambitious space program.

Gun control advocates have it all wrong. They believe the Constitution is a document and agreement meant to be twisted and turned.  They believe it grants rights to politicians and lawmakers, when it does just the opposite. They believe scare tactics will convince us that placing burdens on gun owners will prevent violent crimes, when all the evidence suggests otherwise.

You see the Constitution governs the government. Then, the government can govern the people.  When the government attempts to bypass the governing rule of the Constitution, it is not governing the people as a Constitutional Republic, it is operating a sham.

Indeed, the people have certain rights, natural ones with gun rights being one of them.  So before we are quick to constrain gun sellers and buyers because we sympathize with terrible incidences involving guns, let us first recognize that bearing arms is considered a moral and natural right, dating back centuries.

Marcu Tullius Cicero a Roman Statesman says the following in 52BC:

“There exists a law, not written down anywhere, but in our hearts; a law which comes to us not by training or custom or reading; a law which has come to us not from theory but from practice; not by instruction by natural intuition: I refer to the law which lays it down that, of our lives are endangered by plots or violence or armed robbers or enemies, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right.”

John Locke (1632 1704), an English Philosopher and Protestant, believed in natural rights whereby no man can asunder; those rights being “life, liberty and property” but because man is infinitely sinful a “social contract” between the people and the government is needed for tranquility.

Locke’s understanding would influence both English law and America’s founding fathers. King James II, a Catholic King once removed firearms from the possession of Protestants.  In turn, Locke’s treatise on government paved the way to enact laws reaffirming a right to bear arms, so that all the people’s rights were preserved.

“The end of law is not to abolish or restrain, but to preserve and enlarge freedom. For in all the states of created beings capable of law, where there is no law, there is no freedom. “ ~ John Locke

The American Revolution would not have succeeded if not for the weaponry of the Patriots and their bravery to confront the British.

From “A Journal of the Times,” calling the citizens of Boston to arm themselves in response to British abuses of power, 1769:

“Instances of the licentious and outrageous behavior of the military conservators of the peace still multiply upon us, some of which are of such nature and have been carried to so great lengths as must serve fully to evince that a late vote of this town, calling upon the inhabitants to provide themselves with arms for their defense, was a measure as prudent as it was legal. It is a natural right which the people have reserved to themselves, confirmed by the [English] Bill of Rights, to keep arms for their own defense, and as Mr. Blackstone observes, it is to be made use of when the sanctions of society and law are found insufficient to restrain the violence of oppression.”

Language and words have meaning.  Actions are moral and immoral.  Men and women are different.  The current secular media and government like to blur certain truths and natural rights.  They do this because the seek power and control.

The Second Amendment is clear as day; it reaffirms a natural right of man to protect himself, and it asks that the government not infringe on this right.

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. NYC DOESN’T HAVE THE RIGHT TO REPEAL THE 2ND AMENDMENT

By now, the story of the Tennessee woman who was arrested after asking a NYC police officer how to appropriately check her legally registered handgun before visiting the Ground Zero site is well known.  What is less publicized is the bizarre and extreme antics of NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg against the Second Amendment.

New York’s “Sullivan Law,” which virtually nullifies the Second Amendment, has, unfortunately, been on the books for decades. But under Mayor Bloomberg, it has been pushed to levels which border on the deranged.  He has, for example, dispatched city cops to other states to examine gun sales which are legal in those jurisdictions.

He has even turned his attention to toy guns. Not realistic looking replicas, but plastic, orange-tipped toys that a four year old would play with.   A city bodega owned was fined $30,000 for displaying three toy cowboy  sets that contained a plastic “sheriffs badge,”  and a flimsy-looking six shooter with a bright orange tip.

The sale of these toys are perfectly legal, even under NYC law.  The fines will probably be overturned, but it will cost the store owner thousands in legal fees to do so. The mayor’s goal in doing this sort of thing is to intimidate the public into accepting his personal obsession against personal self-protection, an obsession so extreme that even allowing children to play traditional American cowboy games offends his warped sensibility.

It must be noted that even while New Yorkers are unconstitutionally prohibited from taking steps for self protection, the Mayor has seen fit to reduce his police force by 25%.

Agenda 21 as defined by the United Nations:

Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

Sounds almost harmless doesn’t it?  But there is one major flaw, it is totally Unconstitutional and goes hand in hand with the “One World Government“ way of  thinking.  Here in the United States the environmentalists have been working tirelessly over the last 2 decades to slowly but surely implement Agenda 21 across the nation without people even realizing it.

I could make this a short article and just say they want to create a no human habitation zone right through the middle of the United States Of America, but that will not be enough to get people out of their chairs and fight.

The power players that have been implementing this are just like terrorists, they have a huge war chest of money and a huge amount of support from people like George Soros and a host of globalists willing to bleed you dry until they get their way.  There is no compromising and there is no deviation from their ultimate goal of making us live the way they want us to live; and they truly think they are doing godlike work and this will save us and the planet from destruction (sounds like Islam to me).

In Paragraph 1 of the preamble to Agenda 21, the designers discuss  disparities of nations and inequalities of health and poverty,  but fail to disclose that noble causes are best suited for charities, not Governments.

In Paragraph 2, they discuss the need to take a balanced and integrated approach to environment and development questions, which is explained in paragraph 3.

In Paragraph 3, it says that from the highest levels of government to local groups, supporters will be needed to implement its worldwide agenda. Something which the Obama Admin has already started to put in place across the United States with the creation of another Unconstitutional Order #13575 of the Rural Council.

What is the Rural Council?

It is an agency unlike any other Agency in the Government. The head of the Agricultural Dept. will chair the Council which members include the heads of the following Departments: Dept. Of the Treasury, Defense, Justice, Interior, Commerce, Labor, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, Energy, Education, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, the E.P.A., Federal Communication Commission, the O.B.M., the Office of Science and Technology, the Council of Economic Advisers,Domestic Policy Council, the S.B.A, Council on Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs and finally the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs.

Just look at the range of Governmental offices involved! Anytime we get that much power in one place, nothing good can come from it. The Government can not get the F.B.I. and the C.I.A. on the same page, how are they going to persuade 26 Governmental entities to be on the same page too? Maybe that is by design, following the money may be impossible, the Rural Council is the most powerful group ever put together.

In Paragraph 4, they indicate that developmental and environmental objectives of Agenda 21 will require a substantial flow of new and additional financial resources to developing countries. In other words, the United States Taxpayer is going to have to kick in boatloads of money into a giant worldwide wealth redistribution plan all under the control and direction of the United Nations.

In Paragraph 5, they discuss how they will divide the money on the basis of need.

In Paragraph 6, the implementation of the plan is laid out in the Rio Declaration.  A plan put together by the same environmentalists that promote the Kyoto Treaty, income redistribution, and so called green jobs.

The long term goal of Agenda 21 is to control where we reside, what we do, and how we do it.  Tax us via a United Nations Tax, and create a “One World Government” in charge of  our energy input and output.  Indeed, the Constitution, freedom, and our way of life is at jeopardy.

For those that have never heard of Agenda 21, or those that have and did not know what it really is, I hope this article is a wake up call!

As the Unconstitutional military actions, Unconstitutional Executive Orders, Unconstitutional regulations that Obama has the various government agencies issue so he can keep his name off of them, so he could cowardly hide behind their skirts, continue to mount almost unchecked by the Cowards in Congress, Americans are paying the price.

The POTUS has added another Unconstitutional Act to the ever growing list of violations of the COTUS which seems to have no end in sight. The latest violation (which it may not be before you read this article) is the recess appointments Richard Cordray to lead the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and of three nominees to serve on the National Labor Relations Board.

They argue that all President have made recess appointments and some of them could be considered Unconstitutional. Sounds like two little kids arguing “Sally did it so I can do it too!”  Two wrongs don’t make a right and these appointments are particularly threatening to the separation of power clause because not only does it take away the rights of the people, but fraudulent since the Senate was still in session.

Then we have the Justice Department chiming in that the recess appointments were completely Constitutional and the media are slashing that news all over TV and radio, under Republican rule you might be able to trust that statement but coming from the group of criminals that committed an act of war against Mexico it is sad to admit, as an American we can’t trust anything the highest ranking law enforcement officials in the land do or say.

We all know that Obama has only one use for the COTUS and that’s in the bathroom.  The Justice Dept. which is just the mouth piece for Obama because it is a part of the Executive Branch of Government, who is the head of the Executive Branch, the President, would lie through their teeth just like Obama does every time he opens his mouth.

But no one can be trusted less than the media, the segment of America that will continually feed a steady stream of lies and half truths to the brain dead 15 second sound bite portion of the population who lack the will to do research on their own and the ability to understand what the COTUS is and how it is suppose to function.

The Constitution reads as follows “The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.”

The President and the Justice Dept. must have a reading and comprehension problem or is it me?

The Constitution reads as follows “The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen DURING the Recess of the Senate.”  To me that statement says only if during a Senate recess, which historically has meant they were gone for a period of more than 72 hours or 3 days if someone dies or quits or goes to jail (I am not sure about the last one with this administration), then and only then can the President appoint someone to fill the vacated position.

The media will never add anything to any statement released from the Executive branch of  Government, and it is the media in most cases that drives the conversation because they are lazy, tells half truths or outright lies.

Don’t let the media drive the conversation if you know and understand the Constitution you can save yourself a lot of time and aggravation in dealing with others not so well informed.

Just when we thought President Obama would not advocate for stricter gun laws, B A M, he’s at it again!  We thought he would stay away from the topic for the purpose of getting re-elected, but apparently the pressure to placate his far left followers is weighing heavy.  So, President Obama’s plan is to – once again – circumvent Congress and the People to initiate socialist-style rules on America.

Obama’s biggest obstacle is that our Republican controlled Congress, the entity who according to the Constitution is charged with drafting laws, are doing nothing to appease gun control advocates.  And in turn, the lobby has chastised our Democrat President for doing nothing for them, as well.

President Obama is now bending over backwards to please the gun control lobby, including putting in place a series of executive orders and administrative actions that will prohibit gun rights.  Working in tandem with the Justice Department, the White house is scheduled to release its orders soon. Recall this is the same Justice Department that is under scrutiny for a failed gun trafficking program that purposely sold guns to criminals, and that led to the death of two boarder patrol agents.

This is a Justice Department in disarray, yet prepared to jump on the bandwagon to control innocent Americans from selling and owning guns.  Maybe it is a good idea for the Justice Department to clean its own house, before it tries to get into ours.

The details of the plan are purposely not clear, except to say the new gun regulations will mirror an op-ed piece penned by President Obama on March 13, 2011 which was written in response to a shooting in Tuscon, Arizona that left 13 dead and many wounded.

Completely in lock step with gun control advocacy, Obama calls for new laws that restrict law abiding citizens from selling and owning guns.  In his own words, Obama is clearly on the wrong side of this issue.  Here are some excerpts:

“A man our Army rejected as unfit for service; a man one of our colleges deemed too unstable for studies; a man apparently bent on violence, was able to walk into a store and buy a gun.”

“[W]e have lost perhaps another 2,000 members of our American family to gun violence. Thousands more have been wounded. We lose the same number of young people to guns every day and a half as we did at Columbine, and every four days as we did at Virginia Tech.”

“[A]dvocates for gun owners should accept the awful reality that gun violence affects Americans everywhere, whether on the streets of Chicago or at a supermarket in Tucson.”

“I’m willing to bet that responsible, law-abiding gun owners agree that we should be able to keep an irresponsible, law-breaking few – dangerous criminals and fugitives, for example – from getting their hands on a gun in the first place.”

“We should in fact reward the states that provide the best data – and therefore do the most to protect our citizens.”

“We should make the system faster and nimbler. We should provide an instant, accurate, comprehensive and consistent system for background checks to sellers who want to do the right thing, and make sure that criminals can’t escape it.”

“Porous background checks are bad for police officers, for law-abiding citizens and for the sellers themselves. If we’re serious about keeping guns away from someone who’s made up his mind to kill, then we can’t allow a situation where a responsible seller denies him a weapon at one store, but he effortlessly buys the same gun someplace else.”

“As long as those whose lives are shattered by gun violence don’t get to look away and move on, neither can we.”

Obama’s rhetoric is just another example of a liberal blaming guns for violence, then using a terrible incident to make the case even further.  Not exactly the way our founding fathers envisioned, but it is the hand we have been dealt.

The best we can do is work our tails off making sure President Mussolini, a-h-e-m Obama, is not re-elected, and by exposing him for being in violation of the Constitution, every chance we get.

It is a well known fact that Obama wanted to take control of the Census from Day One, and that the Census is run by the Commerce Department.  As in almost everything this President has done to date, streamlining the Commerce Dept. will undoubtedly wind up with the White House having more unconstitutional control.  He will introduce another 2000 page document that Congress will not read and pass anyway, only to find out that they have given up even more of the people’s right to have separation of powers. This will be followed by the inevitable chorus from Congress of “Gee I didn’t know that was in the proposal”.

Why is it so important to control the census? The Census controls the allocation of money and allocation of each State’s representation in Congress, along with the representation that comes with redistricting. In the last census radical Black and Latino groups complained that the Republican in control of the Commerce Department Sen. Judd Greg was incapable of conducting a fair and just Census, thus they said that Black and Latino communities will suffer because they won’t receive a fair share of the money distributed by the Federal Government.

Most people with common sense would say that is ridicules, and that they would rather trust a Republican from N.H. to conduct a fair Census than a White House write an unconstitutional spread the wealth agenda. So, why the big stink about the counting of people it can’t be that hard, how can anyone change the Census? Well it all goes back to control:

The Congress, by law directed that:

“The Secretary [of Commerce] shall perform the functions and duties imposed upon him by this title, may issue such rules and regulations as he deems necessary to carry out such functions and duties, and may delegate the performance of such functions and duties and the authority to issue such rules and regulations to such officers and employees of the Department of Commerce as he may designate.”

As it states above it is the Secretary of Commerce that makes the rules as to how the Census is conducted.  Thus by gaining control of the Commerce Dept. one gains control of the way the Census is conducted, which in turn gives one control of the money and that is what the President and the Democrats want to do.

They already are buying votes with unconstitutional public sector unions and wealth redistribution programs, and if they can control the census, they can steal more of our money and give it away.  In most cases, to the undeserving people who for 50 years have been given an unconstitutional advantage over hard working families and have been either too stupid or too lazy to take advantage of what they have been given.

By gaining control of the census they get to define what poverty is.  Fifty years ago there was still real poverty in this country. Every time the poverty rate goes down they change the meaning of poverty. It is to the point where today most people considered to be impoverished have a car, refrigerator, air conditioner, cell phone, computer and various video games for their children, and enough to eat.

Giving the White House control over setting the rules will be a disaster for America in the hands of anti American globalist politicians. They will change the rules to try and reflect their view of America which most people know is perverted and distorted. We should be taking away the power the politicians have, not increasing it.

The South Carolina primary is upon us and it is thought that if Mitt Romney walks away with a clear victory there (performing as well as in NH), the Republican nomination will most certainly be his.

I am a believer of still voting when your State’s primary arrives, though, even if all other candidates officially suspend theirs. Principle is what our great Forefathers wanted us to vote on. It is preferable you vote for a candidate and not against one.

So what does a conservative do if Mitt Romney receives the Republican Party nomination? Well, the best thing about our Constitutional Republic is that party nomination for president is only one part of our federated process. Your true representative in Washington – the individual that is supposed to voice you and your neighbor’s ideals, principles and opinions – is, well, your Representative. Your congressional House member is your conservative voice in Washington.

Some pundits are talking up that Romney is a capitalist, which they argue makes him a conservative. Many voters feel that being a capitalist is not good enough and that they simply do not trust Romney to represent their conservative views. The bottom line, though, is that presidents do not legislate, they administer legislation.

Presidents do promote an agenda, but at the end of the day, that agenda is written and voted on as policy by the House and the Senate. Presidents can either accept this policy or veto it. If we walk away from 2012 with a Republican controlled House and Senate, you can be sure that much of the policy being proposed will be conservative. Romney’s only job would be to use his capitalistic review of such policy to determine if it makes America stronger or weaker.

If the nomination is wrapped up after South Carolina or perhaps after Florida, it will be time to shift focus on the 2012 congressional races across the country. With newly drawn district lines, some battles will be easier and some will be harder. There will be incumbents elected by the Tea Party in 2010 that will need re-election and new candidates that will need Tea Party support. If four years of the Obama administration has done one thing, it has re-introduced the importance of who your congressional representative is.

This year is full of many challenges, not only in our state but also in our counties, towns, and school districts.

Number One on Albany’s agenda should be unfunded mandate relief.  The legislature must reduce or eliminate the regulations that require local governments to perform certain actions or provide specific services without funding or with very little. However recently, the governor quietly released a final report of the Mandate Relief Redesign Team without any fanfare or even a press release.  The team’s report was underwhelming at the least (even to the team), not addressing the largest burdens to taxpayers; Medicaid, Triborough Amendment, and the Wick’s Law.

School districts and local governments are in desperate need for reforms NOW!
