We are reaching out to members of the community to ask you to “spare” some time in support of Orange County’s children by participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters signature fundraiser ~ Bowl for Kids’ Sake ~ on Sunday, March 18, 2012! We need your support to make this event a success and hope that your business will stand up for our children and help provide the funds needed this year.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake is held annually to raise awareness and the vital funds needed to sustain and grow our preventive mentoring programs. Your support as a Presenting, Perfect Game, Strike, Split or Spare sponsor will Start Something in 2012 that has the potential to ignite an amazing future for our children. Because you’re a “Big” leader in the business community, we are offering a variety of sponsorship opportunities designed to increase exposure, spotlight your business, and make a statement to our community that you care about our children.

Big Brothers Big Sisters reaches more than 300 youth in Orange County each year through our mission to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Many of these children are at a critical point in their lives when a Big

Brother or Big Sister can make a measurable and positive difference, increasing their potential to succeed, avoid violence and substance abuse and have stronger character, personal success, and participation in their community.

Last year, Bowl For Kids’ Sake raised more than $35,000 and brought together hundreds of participants representing area businesses, employee teams and Orange County citizens. This year as we face challenging revenue cuts, your help matters even more. Our goal is to raise $56,000 and to increase participation and donations. 2012 needs to be the year that rolls us over the top. We know you believe that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As we work to reach towards this goal, we know we can do it, but only with your continued support.
