We Still Do Not Know Who Obama Is

Michelle Obama gave a passionate prime time speech last night kicking off the Democrat National Convention. Even though I am no fan of Obama for President, I thought Michelle did a good job describing her life and conveying a softer side. She came off as a smart, successful woman with strong family roots and values. (It was nice to see her in that light.) Her biggest gaffe, however, is she made a great case for herself, not so much a case for her husband.

What I was expecting to hear was some biographical information about Barack Obama. Americans do not know who he is, where he comes from. I want to know what kind of family life he had, who were his heroes, who did he identify with, where did he get his drive from?

What we know is that his biological parents may or may not have been married. Obama’s father is now deceased, and may or may not have had any influence on Obama’s upbringing. We know Obama’s mother was married to another man, who may or may not have adopted him. Both his father and step-father were/are Muslim, and his mother and grandparents may or may not be Christian.

We also know that Obama spent quite a bit of time overseas, in Indonesia and elsewhere, but we do not know any of the specifics, or whether at any point, he held dual citizenship. There is some ambiguity concerning Obama’s original birth certificate as well.

These are all questions that Obama has failed to clarify. One’s childhood often shape one’s life and views, as clearly explained by Mrs. Obama while reflecting on her own family’s influence, which is part of the reason why we want to know everything about Obama. The job for the President of the United States begs for this type of scrutiny.

By the end of the convention week, my hope is that we learn more about Barack Obama. My guess is we will not find answers to the questions posed, and the usual, stale platitudes will reign.

  1. He is a socialist, elitist, malignant narcissist, Chicago machine politician, an ACORN activist, and a believer in black liberation theology. He is the least qualified person to be nominated for President in the last half century.

  4. Blame professulas whose posh pensions graze on your stumbent loan interest
from vacuous degrees in commie knittie organizing and basket weaving. We
should turn all your grant grubbing colleges into nuclear power stations with
your blather gassing professulas for fuel. Our first reactor fuel will be

grab your throats and dang you from trailer bone tolls. Aghadhimmic habibi

mortgages are in trouble, wait until we waste all your stumbent loans! You
may then need to work instead of diverting tution to freezeniks!

Obama supporters are foolish to think that he will never betray them.
Obama was a close friend of Pastor Wright for TWENTY YEARS.
Obama threw Wright under the bus for personal ambition.
McCain would not betray his country even after 5 years of torture.
You can put lipstick on a traitor, but he’s still a traitor.
