Mr. Obama, Where is Your True Birth Certificate?

Well, well, well, it looks like all us “conspiracy theorists” might be on to something after all. “The Office of the President-Elect” has not produced a true copy or original Birth Certificate showing that Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States, and is qualified under the United States Constitution, to become the next President, after numerous requests to do.

And guess what? There is absolute silence from the pissant media, including some of the country’s most hardened conservatives and so called purveyors of truth. No surprise here. It’s in countries like Communist China that information is purposefully withheld from the public, and the way things have been moving along lately, only us “conspiracy theorists” or internet bloggers are unafraid to uncover the truth.

There have been many articles floating around and I will try to link to as many as I can (h/t to larwyn, contrairimairi, Mitchell Langbert’s blog, Freedom March, and Free Republic) at the end of this commentary, and my readers can determine for themselves what is credible and what is not, but this is a topic that cannot be ignored any further.

A quick word to the naysayers. Even the U.S. Supreme Court has found merit in at least one of the pending lawsuits, and that case is scheduled to be heard Friday, December 5, 2008, yet not one so called media outlet (not even the revered “fair and balanced” FOX news channel) has informed the American public that this reality exists, and many Americans have no clue that the mere question has been posed. Needless to say, I am grateful that the highest Court in the land appears to be the only venue that is impartial. We can only hope that they get to the bottom of this inquiry.

We are embarking on a constitutional crisis, unheard of in our Nation’s history, and the very fact that most if not all public institutions are burying this story, is to my knowledge unheard of as well. If the U.S. Supreme Court are prepared to hear at least one of the cases pending questioning the validity of Obama’s American citizenship, than I think Americans should stop and listen.

I know, I know, people who are following this story have been advised of the following:

“ has declared that the copy of Obama’s birth certificate initially produced by Obama’s campaign site is valid.” Since when is FactCheck the be end and end all of all controversy? As identified by several sources, has a vested interest in the candidacy of Obama, and the copy of the birth certificate it produced is different from the one Obama’s campaign site produced.  Who’s fooling who?

“If true, Hillary supporters would of figured this out a long time ago.” Hillary supporters are just as self absorbed as Hillary, and are more concerned with their own political careers than anything else. Their quick turnover to the Obama campaign paid off inasmuch as Obama has now selected many of them to be a part of his government cabinet.

“The Democrat Party must have surely vetted their candidate for President.” My college professors taught me long ago that trusting political parties to be objective and tell the truth is a risky gamble, and I just assumed they meant all political parties, not just the Republican Party.

“You are a sore loser. Obama won and you should keep quiet.” The last time I checked, I live in a free country, and I have the right to express my dissatisfaction with the way this year’s president election unfolded.

The way I see it, there is only one way the “Office of the President-Elect” can easily and decisively show that Obama is indeed a natural born citizen as defined by the U.S. Constitution, and that is to produce a true copy or original Birth Certificate. Thus far, this simple task has not been accomplished. Sit down and shut up? Never. Here are the links:

  1. Please Raquel, can we stick to the issues that concern us. Have we not been embarrassed enough of the behavior our republican ticket during the election. The fact is we could have had a real chance if, from the start we were focused on the important issues of the economy. Instead, we let a liberal ticket with a history of spending beat us on this issue simply by staying focused. To now go on about silly conspiracy theories of where the president elect was born, is counter productive.

We, as Americans, now have an obligation to support the new Commander in Chief and his new “center-right” team of advisors. We have a few years to come up with a real Republican candidate who is sharp, witty, conservative, honest and well vetted. Like Reagan did, in order to win the support of the nation, you need to bring the center with you! I’m sorry but Gov Palin is not the answer.

Thank you for some of your other blogs, they are well written!

  2. Thanks for writing Concerned Conservative.

This issue does concern me, and I still don’t understand the black out. There is a movement questioning the existence of a Hawaii Birth Certificate. This cannot be refuted.

The idea that Obama is “center-right” I wholeheartedly disagree with. I’m not going to change my opinions just because some people don’t like them.

Let’s wait and see what happens. Any attempt to bury this story, however, only fuels controversy.

  3. To Concerned Conservative,
So upholding the constitution of the United States is embarrassing behaviour?

  4. Concerned Conservative what up, you afraid that the truth might jump up and bite you? Stop putting your head in the sand and do some research. Obama is a fraud who has been power grabbing his whole career. He is about to bring off the biggest lie in his career and all it will take for him to do it is for honest people to stand aside because they don’t want to make a fuss. Don’t want to look like sore losers, don’t want to upset the applecart, don’t really think it matters what the Constitution says. Well it matters to me and it did to our founders. Obama has said that he is a citizen of the world and that he will stand with the Muslims in times of trial. These and many of his other statements are not the statements of a man who is committed to the welfare and good of my country. Sounds to me like he has other ideas and wants to change our way of life. Support him no way! Fight to expose him, lets bring it on! Our Constitution is our most basic document and by hewing to it we protect the vision of a country conceived in Liberty with Freedom and Justice for all, while we try and keep that vision and make it reality. Not the reality of rights, affirmative action and victims but the reality of the indominability of the human spirit to strive and achieve.

  5. There are thousands (at least) of Hillary supporters that want the lies of this empty suit conman exposed. They are called “PUMAs,” which stands for “Party Unity My Ass.” I was a Yellow Dog Democrat until this year, when I saw how shamelessly the DNC helped Obama lie, cheat and vote-steal his way to the nomination. But that is not the main reason why he should not be the nominee, let alone the president. Barack Obama has horrible judgement, associations, and character. He stayed in an anti-American church for 20 years, and took its “GD America” pastor as his, of all things, “spiritual compass.” He shouldn’t be elected to dog catcher, let alone president.

I am now an Independent, doing everything I can to make sure Barack never makes it to the White House, and I am aghast that so many are in the tank to get him there, despite his obvious lack of qualifications, including, most likely, the very eligibility he needs to be president.

We need to work together, rather than tearing each other down. And we need to be wary of Obots, of which “Concerned Conservative” is surely one. No one who truly loves this country would ever say, “Let’s ignore Obama fighting tooth-and-nail not to show his birth certificate. That means nothing!” This person is basically saying we don’t need to pay attention to the Constitution when it lays out the requirements for this highest office in the land. Who would say something like that? Oh, right, Barack Obama. He thinks the document on which this country is based needs some work, too.

Other than that particular gross generalization, your article is great. Thanks for the links – I’ll be working to send more information about the usurper to the media today.

  6. Thanks Raquel for your response. I was in no way suggesting Obama is center-right. The team he has picked, however, is quite center-right and I am delighted to see this. I just think that we need to be putting our collective ideas together to try to prevent a complete nationalization of all our leading industries. We have lost so much influence in government over the last two years due to a failure of our current administration to govern properly. We need to get the smart people back into the Republican party!

As for Diane’s fallacious comment about upholding the constitution, she’s been watching too much Sean Hannity. Try to get your information from respected sources.

Take care Raquel and keep up the good work on Pro-Life Issues!

  7. In response to J Galt, our dear friend President Bush has done more to destroy our Constitution then any other administration. As fas as fighting against the next President of The United States, be careful, I believe that’s called terrorism. We won’t get back into government by acting like the May Day protesters. We have to re-group, plan our strategy, find our next potential candidates, and win back our place in government. That is the Democratic way! That’s how you uphold the Constitution.

By Concerned Conservative on Dec 3, 2008

  8. Again, I will respectfully disagree with your assertion that Obama’s administration will act in a center-right manner. I was particularly dismayed with the appointment of Holden for AG. He was part of the problem during the Elian Gonzalez fiasco.

I have some knowledge of this issue since my father is a Cuban born American. When Elian was taken away, in my opinion illegally and at gunpoint, from his family in Cuba, my parents and I literally cried for hours. Castro is no friend of ours, and a better option would have been to get Elian’s father here to America, not the other way around.

By Raquel on Dec 3, 2008

  9. Dear Alex,

Yes, I have heard of the PUMA group, and their efforts to provide truth to all the problems within the Obama campaign, has been noteworthy and certainly respected by me.

I think Hillary would have won, had she been the nominee. But, obviously, I have my issues with her as a candidate for President. I do not agree with her staunch support for abortion rights both in America and abroad. In all fairness, I could never support her, unless she changed her views on this topic.

I also disapproved of her constant bashing of President Bush and the Republicans in general. Every time she was questioned about her own actions as NY Senator, she blamed the Republicans. Frankly, that infuriated me!

By Raquel on Dec 3, 2008

  10. I would like to add that “Concerned Conservative,” if a conservative at all, is one of the many on the right that handed the election to Obama, either by voting for him, or not voting at all. If that’s the case, “Clueless Conservative” might be a more appropriate moniker.

As a lifelong Democrat, I voted for McCain. Country Before Party, now and always!

By Alex on Dec 3, 2008

  11. Those who seem concerned about conservatives being “smeared’ for demanding Obama provide valid birth documentation to prove he is a natural born citizen as required under the constitution for Presidential qualification, can not be serious.

Conservatives are smeared no matter what they do or don’t do. So they may as well do what is right and that is to clear up this question about Obama’s constitutional qualifications now because it is not going to go away and will weaken Obama’s Presidency. In other words, the lawsuits and challenges to his legitmacy will not stop if he is seated without proving his constitutional qualifications.

If you really care about Obama, urge him to turn over his vault birth certificate that shows where he was born and what hospital delivered him. Currently all we have is his grandma in Kenya saying he was born in Kenya and that she was at his birth. His Hawaiian grandma did not vouge for him being born in the US before she passed away. He can make all this go away by just releasing his documents or stepping down for having committed fraud (with a lot of help from his liberal and DNC pals) on the American people.

By sara on Dec 3, 2008

  12. Sorry you feel that way Alex. I won’t vote for someone just because of their party affiliation. I always had respect for Sen McCain for his courage to stick up to Pres Bush but I feel his campaign was poorly run. He made several bad decisions and couldn’t stay on message. I think Huckabee would have been a much better choice for running mate and would have pleased the Christian right even more. Huckabee would have destroyed Biden in the debate. Huckabee also did well with many Catholics and moderate democrats and republicans. I’m hardly “clueless” because we disagree. I, too, put Country before party!

Raquel, I agree with you about Holden. I’m not a big fan but the entire foreign policy team as a whole has a more center-right feel to it. Take care.

Iknow you are busy setting up your new administration as the President elect of the greatest country in the world, but there are a couple of things about your background and qualifications for the office that concern me and many of my fellow Americans. Never before has a Presidential candidate failed to fully disclose routine information about their background.

It seems that many records concerning your background have either been sealed or are temporarily unavailable for review. I know that any honest person like yourself, who is about to assume the highest office in the land, would never overtly want to keep such information from public review.

    Here’s a partial list:

    1. College records from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard — Not available and secured by college administrators.
    2. Columbia Thesis paper — not available, secured by college administrators
    3. Certified Copy of original Birth certificate – Not released (sealed?)
    4. Certified Copy of Certification of Live Birth — Not released (sealed?)

I believe items #3 and 4 are the most critical and they concern two issues that are very important to the American people:

    1. Are Are you a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S.? and
    2. Are you legally qualified to hold the Office of President?

There have been several lawsuits filed with various state Boards of Elections, including one that has made it to the US Supreme Court, claiming you are ineligible to be on their ballots because you have not produced proof that you are a natural born citizen of the United States.

As you may recall, there was a Cetificate of Live Birth (COLB) for you posted on your campaign website in the past that was reported as an original, but which was later found to be only an abstract of a computer record having no connection to the original 1961 COLB document. The abstract copy was later taken down.

In an election of a President, where being a “Natural Born Citizen” is a requirement for the position, I believe that the American people have a right to know if you are a natural born citizen.

What does the actual original document say about the birth? What hospital were you born in? Who was the attending physician? What was the date and time? What names are listed on the COLB? I think the question of your birth is a very important constitutional issue and the issue should be publicly put to rest one way or the other.

Mr Obama, it seems that you are creating needless confusion when you could easily avoid all of this doubt simply by asking for release of your original 1961 document and let it be examined. Why haven’t you done this? and why have you fought against every attempt to produce the document?

Mr. Obama, if you are truly and honorable man and a “Natural Born Citizen of the United States” you can clear up this issue very quickly. Just sign a release to have the full document examined and made available for public scrutiny.

Your continued avoidance of the issue and your subsequent failure to provide proof that you are a “Natural Born Citizen of the United States” is very suspicious and raises a very important constitutional issue that must be addressed before you take office. I am asking you to stop using legal technicalities, record sealing and courtroom maneuvers to avoid the issue. The American people have every constitutional right to know whether or not you are a “Natural Born Citizen” and they will eventually find out.

Let’s put this issue to rest once and for all so you can get on with the American people’s business.

  14. Good post, Raquel. Give ‘em hell!

By Mitchell Langbert on Dec 4, 2008

  15. Good post Raquel. A few comments though.
We discussed this issue in detail about Obama’s birth on your blog especially with Phil O and M&M and I’ve written in details my take on it. Thanks for the links though (some of which I looked at)but I think I’ll wait till tomorrow to hear what the courts decide before addressing in details some of your points.

But there are some comments I want to address first. Like I tell people I’m always up for a spirited debate on politics, people’s record, idealogy etc but again I get concerned when I hear generalized comments or people demonizing candidates.

1.Obama has said that he is a citizen of the world and that he will stand with the Muslims in times of trial. These and many of his other statements are not the statements of a man who is committed to the welfare and good of my country- Now when I read comments like this by J Galt, I and a lot of most americans see it as a way of instilling or inciting FEAR about Obama. Are you saying all Muslims are bad? How about Muslim americans who have died for this country? There are differences between muslims vs fundamental islamic extremism.

2.He stayed in an anti-American church for 20 years, and took its “GD America” pastor as his, of all things, “spiritual compass.” He shouldn’t be elected to dog catcher, let alone president (alex).- Oooook this is probably a comment from someone who likes to criticize the media but uses them to advance their purposes/debate points. Why are you basing the content of the church he went to based on one sound bite that was looped by the media? I lived in chicago and know people who went to that church and the church does a lot of good things in the chicago community. Yes I was offended by that particular sermon but again gross characterizations are not welcome.
4.and I am aghast that so many are in the tank to get him there, despite his obvious lack of qualifications, including, most likely, the very eligibility he needs to be president (Alex).- Please support why he has an “obvious lack of qualification”. If you are talking about public service experience I can give you details about that. Now I agree McCain has more public experience and Palin has more “executive” experience but having that is not a guarantee you will be a successful president. If you refer to judgement well lets compare the judgement that was on display during the campaign eg choice of running mate, reaction to bailout etc You talk about lets all work together and not tear each other down but in the same post you tear down Obama and Concerned Conservative.

Concerned Conservative, I actually agree with your comments and understand where you are comming from. I keep telling people that the election was only going to be won if you appealed to the independents who for the most part are on the center. Also i believe the republican party needs to regroup and come out with a great candidate with a consistent message that resonates for the most part with the population (I’m beginning to like Pawlenty and Jindal ideas on the direction the party should take). Also agree that Obama’s cabinet choices indicate he will govern from the center.

  16. How does one join the suit against OBB (Obama the baby butcher) the Arab from Illinois?

I have found it very discomforting that the national news media will not allow one to post comments on its forums if one posts the truth about OBB. By such news media, I include, the Washington Post, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and the Saint Paul’s Pioneer Press. I have this proof.

  17. Reggie, two very good prospects with similar qualities and appeal as Obama. If we could only drag Scarborough away from his lucrative TV deal with MSNBC, we would have it locked up. He’s respected in every circle and a true Conservative!

By Concerned Conservative on Dec 6, 2008

  18. We as Conservatives should not be talking about where Obama was born. We should be talking about how Conservatives will solve the challenges of today like, reforming health care, energy independent, reforming education, tax cuts for the middle and working class and people working for small and big business, winning the war on terror by using the Conservative philosphy to come out with new Conservative ideas for those challenges I mentioned and talking to people about how these new conservative ideas will work to solve those challenges and the Democrats’ ideas will not so we can find favor with the voters again.

  20. Now that the anti-science, superstition-based initiative presidency ends, we need several public works science Manhattan projects to make us great again and boost us out of this Grotesque Depression. First we must provide free advertising-based wireless internet to everyone to end land line monopolies. Then we must criscross the land with high speed rail. Because bovine flatulence is the major source of greenhouse gases, we must develop home growable microbes to provide all of our protein. Then we must create microbes which turn our sewage and waste into fuel right at home. This will end energy monopoly by putting fuel in our hands. We must address that most illness starts from behavior, especially from parents. Since paranoid schizophrenia is the cause of racism, bigotry, homelessness, terrorism, ignorance, exploitation and criminality, we must provide put the appropriate medications, like lithium, in the water supply and require dangerous wingnuts who refuse free mental health care to be implanted with drug release devices. CHurches should be licensed to reduce supersition and all clergy dealing with small children should be psychiatrically monitored to prevent molesting. Osama bin Laden and Timothy McVeigh were the ultimate superstition based initiatives. Widen navigation straits (Gibraltar, Suez, Malacca, Danube, Panama and Hellspont) with deep nukes to prevent war. In order to fund this we must nationalize the entire financial, electrical and transportation system and extinguish the silly feudal notion that each industry should be regulated by its peers. Technology mandates a transformation of tax subsidies from feudal forecloseable debt to risk sharing equity. Real estate and insurance, the engines of feudalism, must be brought under the Federal Reserve so we may replace all buildings with hazardous materials to provide public works. Insects, flooding and fire spread asbestos, lead and mold which prematurely disables the disadvantaged. Disposable manufactured housing assures children are not prematurely disabled and disadvantaged. Because feudalism is the threat to progress everywhere, we must abolish large land holdings by farmers, foresters or religions and instead make all such large landholding part of the forest service so our trees may diminish greenhouse gases. We must abolish executive pay and make sure all employees in a company are all paid equally. We must abolish this exploitative idea of trade and monopoly and make every manufactured disposable cottage self sufficient through the microbes we invent.

  24. Hi Raquel,

I’d like to see this issue resolved once and for all, so the nation can focus and concentrate our attention on riviving the economy and ensuring success in our two wars abroad.

By Al on Jan 11, 2009

  25. Unfortunately, we are stuck as of January 20th. What is also sad is the RINOs on the Urban Elephants website and they are as RINO as it gets!

    By Alice L. on Jan 13, 2009

  26. Dear Al,

The issue is unfortunately left dangling.

People are focused on the economy and the wars abroad, as we should be, but it doesn’t negate the honest inquiry of Obama’s BC.

By Raquel on Jan 21, 2009

  27. I have a question also, Mr. McCain where is your Birth Certificate? Everyone was jumping on the band wagon to attack President Obama while he was campaigning for President but when the issue came up about McCain being born in Panama it was just swept under the rug. Makes you think. Different strokes for different folks? Of course. It’s sad, it really is. The hate is so obvious!! Also, if I am correct, President Obama’s birth certificate was presented an official copy at that indicated that he was born in Hawaii.

I know that I will be attacked for my comments (the truth), but that’s okay. I am a person of one against all of Raquel’s friends, colleagues, etc.

By Marva on Aug 21, 2009

  28. Thanks for writing Marva! You are not my only disagreeing friend btw, as you can see by some of the comments above, I have friends of all political persuasions! I love the debate! (Of course you and I have been disagreeing since Bush vs. Gore — its a testament to our friendship that we’re still friends!)

As for McCain, there was a NY Times article (or Washington Post, not sure) back in the primary race that covered McCain’s birth place. He was born in the Panama Canal, and it was determined that because his father was a Marine captain stationed there, his son is a Natural Born Citizen.

The BC story intrigued me, I do not regret covering it, and I do not believe it to be hateful.

With respect to a double standard, ha! The media hated Bush with a passion. The only media outlets that dare to criticize or question Pres. Obama is FOX news and talk radio. So, don’t worry your side has most media outlets on your side.

And finally, don’t worry if anyone attacks you at my website — I’ll protect you against the MOB (ha ha he he)!
